Twitter: A Boon for a Buffoon

With the recent Kanye West Twitter fiasco i think it’s a good time to talk about how powerful social media can be for publicity. Kanye really thought the best way to relieve his debt problem was to ask in a ridiculous manner on a social platform? Of course not. Social media is free advertising. The fact that people who don’t listen to Kanye’s music know about this event shows that Kanye may not have gotten his money, but the people are aware of his new album that conveniently came out on the same day.

Kanye asks mark for help
